Stardew Valley 1.6 is larger in scope than expected.

Stardew Valley looks to be getting it's update 1.6 soon. According to ConcernedApe on twitter, while the scope of 1.6 was larger than expected, its finally in a bug fixing and polishing stage of development.

ConcernedApe also mentions in a reply that we will be getting the update during 2024 and will be most likely coming to PC first. He also mentions: "It'll be fine to play on an old save, but I'd probably recommend a new save just to experience everything in context, otherwise you'll unlock a bunch of stuff right away when you load up your old save"
